Anhui Province
Located in East China, in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Huaihe River, in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, and close to the river near the sea. The terrain is composed of plains, hills and mountains; it spans Huaihe River, the Yangtze River and the Qiantang River, three major river systems with an area of 141,100 square kilometer.
Anhui Province has eight hundred miles of cities along the Yangtze River and the Wanjiang Economic Belt, is an important part of the Yangtze River Delta. Located at the strategic point of the country’s economic development and the counterpoint of several major domestic economic sectors, the economy, culture and other areas of the Yangtze River Delta have historical and natural connections.
Anhui cuisine is called Hui cuisine and is one of the eight major cuisines in China. Folk architecture in Anhui is called Huipai architecture, and brick, wood, and stone carvings are widely used. It shows a superb level of decorative art and is a typical representative of Jiangnan architecture. Anhui people have been good at doing business since ancient times. Anhui merchants are called Huizhou merchants and are well-known commercial gangs in Chinese history.

There are 16 cities in Anhui Province, and the capital is Hefei. There are 208 industrial cluster specialized towns in Anhui Province, including 17 industrial cluster specialized towns with revenue exceeding 10 billion yuan.
