Maybe you are really lucky and found a satisfactory product, maybe this is the beginning of a series of unpleasant events for you. How to do due diligence and have a better judgment before commitment and make yourself more confident to pay? Here are some of our methods.
First of all, you need to get the Chinese registered name of the manufacturer. From the name, you can judge whether it is a production manufacturer or a trading company; whether it is a large-scale enterprise or a personal company with only one office. Whether the company’s reputation is good or not, whether it has had other bad records before, whether it has become a defendant in the court, etc., these information can help you judge.
Of course, our first choice must be a production enterprise, and choosing one will have a good guarantee for the entire trade and communication in the future. That is to say, find the source company, not the middleman.
The location of the enterprise is also important, because the economy of each province and region in China has distinct characteristics, which are so-called industrial clusters. Manufacturers of certain goods may only appear in a specific area, because only this area produces such goods in large quantities, so the location of the factory is also very important.
The product you need must be the main product of the company. Many companies mentioned in their publicity that they have many kinds of products, and they produce more than a dozen or dozens of products to show the strength of the company. Some of these products are not produced by this company, but they are just such products that they have obtained through convenient channels. So you must find a company whose main product is your product. At the same time, you can ask the other party to provide various certifications and documents of the products you need, information on finished and semi-finished products, production line status, inventory quantity, etc.
