Hainan Province

Located at the China southernmost tip, with a land area of ​​35,400 square kilometers, composed of mountains, hills, terraces, plains and other landforms. The Qiongzhou Strait in the north faces Guangdong, and the Beibu Gulf in the west faces Guangxi and Vietnam. Hainan has a tropical marine monsoon climate hot, with warm and year-round and abundant rainfall.

Hainan is China’s special economic zone and free trade pilot zone. The GDP in 2019 was 530.894 billion yuan, ranking 28th nationwide, with a population of 9.472 million in 2019, ranking 29th nationwide. Hainan Provincial Capital is located in Haikou City.

Hainan Industries

Hainan is rich in plant medicinal materials and is known as “natural medicine storehouse”. There are about 2,000 species that can be used in medicine, accounting for 40% of the country, and 137 kinds of anti-cancer plants have been screened.

Iron ore reserves account for about 70% of the country’s iron-rich ore reserves, ranking first in the country; titanium ore reserves account for 70% of the country; zircon reserves account for 60% of the country. Tourism and real estate are the pillar industries of Hainan.
