It is one of the five autonomous regions in China. It is located in the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River in the northwest of China. It covers an area of ​​66,400 square kilometers. It borders Shaanxi in the east and Inner Mongolia in the north. Ningxia has a terrain complicated, which can be roughly divided into the Loess Plateau, terraces, plains and mountains.

Resources & Industries

Ningxia is rich in energy resources such as solar energy, wind energy, coal, gypsum, and natural gas. Gypsum reserves rank first in the country and coal reserves rank fifth in the country. Ningxia is the main producer of Chinese wolfberry and the main wine producing area in China.
